Spring comes again...

The rabbits smell the spring in the air,
the lady plays the flute,
the robins breast is flashy flair,
and the hummingbirds follow suit.

Spring has sprung through damp warming
of the ground,
a long remembered song resung,
trilling notes from
feathered throats resound.

The highest peaks covered by winter's snow,
the folk step out to breath fresh scent
In the valleys, nooks and crannies below
The sun's warmth has straightened backs that bent.

The spring has such dramatic increase
where winter held up energy to store
as the lambs born in bright wooly fleece
that bounce their springy leaps and more.

The lives that winter spared in season
are returned back to their routine
to explore, experience, reason
and to plow and plant between.
